Hitte Natural Convection Trench Heating is ideal for counteracting heat loss and condensation in highly glazed areas. It uses a piped hot water (LPHW) supply to deliver naturally rising heat to the air by means of a heat exchanger, Hot water can be supplied from a conventional hot water boiler, solar energy hot water system or a ground source heat pump. The heat output directly relates to the flow/return temperatures of that source. Internal surfaces are insulated and coated with heat reflective finish to improve the efficiency of the trench.

Trench Heating is now universally found throughout buildings of all type including homes, offices, restaurants, shopping malls, galleries and museums providing discreet heating within entrance halls, reception areas, corridors, living and office spaces and conservatories.
Subtle, it perfectly complements the modern minimalist interior design style and is ideal where space is at a premium. It is often the architect’s heating system of choice when seeking to utilise natural light in the most effective way and incorporating large areas of glazing in new developments, building extensions or refurbishments.
Hitte Natural Convection Trench heating is a highly effective, quiet and discreet heating solution. It is set into the floor, within a trench, and the heat rises, by means of natural convection, through an attractive aluminium grille that sits flush with the floor surface. It can be used either as a primary heating system or a secondary system where it will help increase overall heating system efficiency by counteracting downdraught and condensation in highly glazed areas.
The Hitte Natural Convection Trench Heating units use piped hot water (LPHW) as the heat source. Hot water can be supplied from a conventional hot water boiler, solar energy hot water system or a ground source heat pump. The heat output directly relates to the flow/return temperatures of that source. Internal surfaces are insulated and coated with heat reflective finish to improve the trench’s efficiency.
