Turnbull & Scott is proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey toward sustainable innovation.
Our very own Research and Development Engineer, Jodie Macleod, along with Marketing Manager, Sam Rippin, recently took center stage at the Can Do Innovation Green Heat Feasibility Call Showcase in Glasgow to present our latest project, “Heat in a Bucket.”
The presentation highlighted our project’s potential to provide transportable heat solutions to our customers using PCMs (Phase Changing Materials) and revolutionised the way we think about heat storage and use green technology for heating.
The event, organized by Scottish Enterprise, provided a great platform for sharing ideas, networking, and collaboration among Scotland’s leading innovators and business minds. It was an honour to join this gathering, which was a melting pot of creative and sustainable solutions aimed at tackling the urgent issue of climate change.
“We are truly inspired by the collective energy and dedication we witnessed at the showcase,” said Jodie. “It reaffirms our belief in the power of collaboration and innovation to create a more sustainable future.”
The “Heat in a Bucket” project is a testament to Turnbull & Scott’s ongoing dedication to helping our customers achieve their Net Zero goals and providing them with more efficient heating solutions. By focusing on transportable heat storage, we aim to offer practical, eco-friendly heat storages that align with our global responsibility to reduce carbon emissions.
Sam, reflecting on the event, added, “It’s encouraging to see so many Scottish companies coming together with a shared goal of reducing our carbon footprint. We are grateful to Scottish Enterprise for this opportunity and excited about the potential collaborations that emerged from this event.”
The showcase has not only provided a platform for Turnbull & Scott to highlight our advancements but also sparked conversations about future partnerships and projects. It is a step forward in our commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation in the field of green technology.
As we move ahead, the insights and feedback garnered from this event will be invaluable. Turnbull & Scott is more motivated than ever to push the boundaries of what is possible in sustainable heating, contributing to a healthier planet and a brighter future for all.
