Part of the Sonniger Heater R unit heater condens product family, the Sonniger Mix de-stratification fan enables building operators to make the very most of the heat already generated. Where space heating equipment is in use, such as the Sonniger Heater R unit heater, heat rises by natural convection to the highest point of the building. Destratification fans assist with maintaining a more uniform heat pattern throughout the heated space, minimising dead spots or pushing air into hard to reach places.
Destratification devices are one of the most effective energy reduction technologies available on the market. Ideal for buildings with high ceilings that are likely to suffer from extreme temperature differences as the natural thermal stratification phenomenon occurs with hot air rising towards the ceiling or roof due to it being lighter than the surrounding cool air.
To mount to the ceiling use 4 x M8 mounting pins (not included) which can be screwed into the frame to depth of 20mm.
The fan’s motor is equipped with an internal temperature limit fuse protecting the engine from overheating.
The unit set does not include a feeding cable or a master switch.
The electrical installation and connection of the automatic control should be carried out in accordance with current regulations and standards following the electrical connection diagrams, by an appropriately qualified person.
